sherbear & clarkie take on the windy city!

sherbear and clarkie made their second annual trip to chi-town a couple of weeks ago. my guy and i had an absolute blast with the two best parentals around! we started out the weekend by byob-ing at cafe sushi followed by a little late night adventure through old town.

on friday, we were able to catch the practice for the chicago air & water show at north ave beach then had dinner with the little family at my guy and my fav restaurant, topo gigio. (yes - if you are reading this and have visited, we probably took you there. it's aaamazing. 'nough said!)

saturday, the fam and my guy watched the air & water show from my rooftop then got all razzle dazzled up to hit it big at the horseshoe bingo casino! the only BIG winner was sherbear when she hit a straight flush on three card poker and cashed in over $400!

before clarkie and sherbear departed for the airport, we had a little brunch to cure our fun time at the shoe.

i love it when the fam comes to visit because they get to let their hair down and we always take chicago by storm!
