would you like fries with that?

for halloween 2008, i was the legendary wendy's girl. of course i find humor in this costume because it is unique; plus, i work for the ultimate burger and fry competitor. being wendy this year was my first authentic costume.

i was all smiles the entire night with every "whoa, look at that wendy costume!" comment. it was also my first time wearing a wig and showing my pretty pouts off with intense, cherry red lipstick. the following morning, i told j-to-the-j i kind of fancied that look (oh no not the wig, but the lipstick).

i made my way to lala and mk's halloween party. there were so many people with such interesting costumes. you could not ask for a better party: appetizers, flipcup and of course, the most awesome ipod dj-ed dance party. later in the night, i even got a picture with a box of fries.

my night came to a close with a hotdog from the famous clark street dog's, a local hotdog joint and walking home with friends on one of the most weather-perfect nights since i have been living in the city.

so needless to say, my first halloween in the windy city was a success. i could not ask for better friends, weather or costume pick.
