playoffs for the blackhawks

yes, i understand this post is a little late, but take it for what it is, my life has been a little crizzazzy lately..enjoy!

my sweet friend from college, kellbell, invited me to attend the stanley cup playoff's game over the memorial day weekend. it was the only game where the chicago blackhawks took victory over the detroit red wings in overtime. i had a total blast!

kellbell's family friend has a stake in a private box through his company. the game was quite an experience! one tradition for blackhawks' games is during the national anthem, all fans yell and scream at the top of their lungs, in support of america and the great city of chicago. so of course i chimed in with my whistle!

after the anthem was chanted out, kellbell and i enjoyed the many "all you can eat and drink" amenities that came along with the box. the best part of the whole night, other than being with kellbell before she ventured of to live in LA for six months, was the dessert cart! seriously, there is a cart that rolls along the hallways of the box level where you can pick as many desserts of that your little heart desires. i could not decided between the blackhawks decorative cookie and the turtle brownie! decisions, decisions! so the dessert darling aka the cart lady told me to take both. ok fine! that's what i did..

i will never be bale to top another first blackhawks game. just like i told clarkie the next day, i don't think i will be bale to sit with the common folk ever again.. haha..
