now, now, now, i am not counting my spring chickens before they hatch, but spring sure is in the air.
to kick off my big girl spring break, my guy and i went for a refreshing 8.36 mile bike ride along the lakeshore last saturday. the sun was out and the air was crisp! i still did not let the sunshine fool me because i definitely bundled up so my guy did not have to hear me huff and puff about being cold. something that he is use to and just smiles and lets me be me...
but today was THE day! spring was truly in the air. the geese at mcwork were gagglin' it up on lake fred. the grass has started to sprout green. the sun was all kid of wonderful. tonight after mcwork, my guy and i took advantage of the spring time feeling and walked from lincoln park to the goldcoast. we took a pit stop to grab a late dinner at friends sushi. i recommend this sushi hot spot if you are looking for yummy to your tummy sushi with a trendy, intimate setting in an upbeat atmosphere.
move over winter! spring is in full swing!

Oh you sweet, naive, southern girl. It's March in Chicago... Spring is taunting you. My guess is that it will hand around for about 2 more days before winter comes roaring back.
