last night my guy and i decided to take advantage of the dreary weather and go see shrek forever after 3D! no matter how responsible and mature we try to act, we both are little kids at heart.
the below video clip was our absolute favorite part of the movie. it reminded us of the south, especially the i love you, daddy line! we were definitely the loudest laughers in the theater!

- hey y'all! it's me, "the girl" from girl and the windy city. as y'all know, my partner-in-crime, my guy, and i were engaged last summer and now are gearing up for the big day. we want to reflect our windy city life through this sister blog! so as it goes, some might say, "southern meets the city." we would like to say, "bring it on!" this change did us good. not just changes in scenary, but changes in attitude and changes in latitude. we took the leap, moved to chicago and fell in love. that is what we have done. stuffed our cars, drove north and making chicago our own.
