today was the absolute first day i have ever dreaded coming into mcwork. it could be the event we have tomorrow and all the stressers that has accumulated throughout the last couple of weeks or it could be the drama that ensues when working with 12 other pms-ing females. i have realized my next job must have testosterone. that is an absolute must.
i am trying to have a good attitude. my day has been flipped to the sunny-side up due to mr.right's much anticipated call. it was 10:15 am monday morning for me and 12:15 am tuesday morning for him. it was good to just talk and hear his side of the story. (fyi.. mr.right being the epitome of your typical HR guy, always has good work advice..)
i am trying to get out of the manic-monday funk.. all i have to get to is thursday and my week will be donzo and KRISTIE B. WILL BE IN THE WINDY CITY TO PLAY WITH ME!

- hey y'all! it's me, "the girl" from girl and the windy city. as y'all know, my partner-in-crime, my guy, and i were engaged last summer and now are gearing up for the big day. we want to reflect our windy city life through this sister blog! so as it goes, some might say, "southern meets the city." we would like to say, "bring it on!" this change did us good. not just changes in scenary, but changes in attitude and changes in latitude. we took the leap, moved to chicago and fell in love. that is what we have done. stuffed our cars, drove north and making chicago our own.
