since the news broke, i have changed my mentality about the whole situation. from my point of view, it is a once in a lifetime experience for him. i know he would do the same for me if i were in his shoes. boy, have i matured. you can ask anyone that new me four even a year ago. i probably would not have this attitude. thank goodness i do; otherwise, i would be a pathetic little princess somber for an entire month.. lame, totally lame..mr.right being the thoughtful mr. that he is gave me a birthday card before he left. it even states on the front "open march 27." on the back the envelope is sealed with a sticker and a question is posed "is it march 27 yet?" you got to laugh at that one. the card is on my vanity. temptation, temptation.
off my soapbox..
mr.right did arrive in singapore safe and sound. i made sure to remind him to get up and walk around on the 23 hour flight (that is total. he had a layover in tokyo, but still it's more dramatic saying 23 hours..). why get up and walk? well because people die if they don't. yeah thats harsh to say but you can accumulate a blood clot from sitting for too long and then you die. not cool.
for the next month i will be on skype a lot. yes, sherbear and daddy-o, get excited ya'll will be able to actually skype with me for once!! if you ever get bored, more than likely my mac will be in tune with skype, so leave me a message if i am out falling in love with my windy city!!
