second city

mr. and mrs. invited over for a mexican fiesta last night. it is always fun to enjoy time with friends (BR, JK and jtothej joined too!) and drink a margarita or two or four. mrs. is working on her domestic skills, mainly cooking. i will have to give it to her, the enchiladas were better than any restaurant's i have ever been to. kudos!

you know what makes the best nights? they are the ones when you don't have a plan. BR was about to head out the door, when he asked if anyone else wanted to come along to second city, a comedy/acting club i old town, to view his friend who directed "scumbag millionaire," a spoof from the academy award winning best picture. of course, i said yes! i have been waiting to go experience second city since i heard about it from jtothej back in june when hurricane smashley hit.. boy have we come a long way..

the show was hilarious and touched on the basis of the economic times and social haphazards. i truly enjoyed the venue and cannot wait for more shows in the future.
