After work, I jet-setted out to the lake front, despite the storm rolling into town. Heading down Belden, the pit-patter of the rain began to fall. Well there is always a first for everything! Note to ya'll: RAIN RUNNIN' is the BOMB.COM!! Give it a try!! The cool rain is so refreshing!!
Half-way, at North Ave Beach, Mr.Right met me!! We both decided if we see each other we see each other.. and we did!!
The rain run was well worth the challenge. I ended up running four and half miles in 45 minutes. I gave myself a pat on my back.

- hey y'all! it's me, "the girl" from girl and the windy city. as y'all know, my partner-in-crime, my guy, and i were engaged last summer and now are gearing up for the big day. we want to reflect our windy city life through this sister blog! so as it goes, some might say, "southern meets the city." we would like to say, "bring it on!" this change did us good. not just changes in scenary, but changes in attitude and changes in latitude. we took the leap, moved to chicago and fell in love. that is what we have done. stuffed our cars, drove north and making chicago our own.
