1 for 4 in the interview circuit and 0 for 5 in the employment network. i decided i need to do a little more than applying online and distributing resumes. next step...getting connected!
i decided to join LinkedIn. why was i not on this networking site to begin with you may ask? well, i had this feeling that my life was becoming way too connected. well apparently not connected enough when evaluating my low probability of now future employment.

- hey y'all! it's me, "the girl" from girl and the windy city. as y'all know, my partner-in-crime, my guy, and i were engaged last summer and now are gearing up for the big day. we want to reflect our windy city life through this sister blog! so as it goes, some might say, "southern meets the city." we would like to say, "bring it on!" this change did us good. not just changes in scenary, but changes in attitude and changes in latitude. we took the leap, moved to chicago and fell in love. that is what we have done. stuffed our cars, drove north and making chicago our own.
