never say never

when you think something can possibly only happen once to you in life, it happens again.

just like last night when i was waiting outside my apt door for lala to come and get a gift certificate for a restaurant that i was not going to use. i could not abandon my door, since i left my keys upstairs in the sweatbox. so as i waited patiently, i felt something brush the back of my dress. i took a glance behind me to search for what felt like a heavier than normal leaf falling from the sky, but nothing. after lala came and got the goods, i walked back up the mountain to finish making dinner for mr.right and me.

in walked mr.right and shockingly he asked, "b, what is that?!" sure enough, the dang birds that have been perching on the roof above our apt landing dropped me a little surprise. SICK!

note: the apt landing has had some turd-ible issues since the city decided to place an industrial blue recycling trash can out side our landing. why there on the side walk? i have no clue, but the birds find it quite poop-tractive.

to refresh your memory, last june 2008, one of my first adventures downtown, a bird splattered me with poo all over my shoulder. after telling my story to all, many of my listeners told me the italians say it is good luck to have a bird poo on you. seriously, how can that be good luck?!

i swore something shitty like that could possibly never ever happen again. well, never say never...
