I believe in work hard work. Ok ok ok, so if you were an AU alumni or cwe counselor, you prob just laughed. But seriously y'all, I have worked to the maxx the past seven days learning everything and training for my new position with mickey d's!
To let loose and get some much needed social interaction with my besties, I enjoyed a summer's end baseball game at wrigley field to watch the cubs beat the houston astros.
Yay for baseball! Yay for friends! And yay for summertime all the way till the end!

- hey y'all! it's me, "the girl" from girl and the windy city. as y'all know, my partner-in-crime, my guy, and i were engaged last summer and now are gearing up for the big day. we want to reflect our windy city life through this sister blog! so as it goes, some might say, "southern meets the city." we would like to say, "bring it on!" this change did us good. not just changes in scenary, but changes in attitude and changes in latitude. we took the leap, moved to chicago and fell in love. that is what we have done. stuffed our cars, drove north and making chicago our own.
