suit up

i knew what to expect this morning when i was headed out to my car. negative temperatures. very negative temperatures. so negative that if you expose your skin to the air for more than ten minutes, you can get frostbite.

all signs pointed to me unpacking my ski apparel and suiting up before i headed out to my car to make the trek to work. that is exactly what i did. i wore my thermal socks, ugg boots, ski pants over my work clothes with my head dressed in my neck warmer, scarf, ear muffs and fleece headband. i covered my hands with my arm length/finger-tip hand warmers and ski gloves. then over all of that, i wore my aaaaamazingly warm down jacket. i mos def looked like randy from the christmas story this morning walking to my car and into work. or you could categorize me as a terrorist, like one of my coworkers said in passing.

either way, i was warm and no skin exposed. fyi, in negative degree weather, there is no such thing as a fashion show.
