today has marked the coldest day in chicago since 1996. i suited up again this morning. when i embraced the negative ten degree weather (props to roxy's temp gauge), i could feel the sub-zero air through my multiple layers of warmth. it was like a million needles pricking my entire body's top layer of epidermis.
and to all of my southern friends and family down in alabama, do not even complain about it being in the "teen" degrees this week. pahhhhhlease, that is a heat wave!
thankfully, the temperatures are going to rise above zero today and get into the high twenties by next week. YAHOO! as for now, it is the survival of the fittest here in the chi. suit up or stay home.
