i was pleasantly surprised to come home from my mcwork pre-site to two ups notices about a package for me. so yesterday, i went to the ups pick-up and was told i had to come back after 7:15 pm. so, i took advantage of my time, crunched it out then headed back downtown to get my package. i could not resist waiting until i got back to the apt. so i opened it immediately after getting into roxy. low and behold, jewels had sent me a hilarious card, which she notes is us in thirty years, and a beautiful bracelet and complimentary earrings for my birthday.
after climbing the mountain, i plopped all of my belongings on my bed and noticed another surprise for me from urban outfitters. i had an idea who it was from when the address label was titled "lizzy b!" i guessed right, kristie b. sent me a feather headband! it was actually one of the headbands i had admired at urban a couple of weeks before!
oh that jewels and kristie b! they are two of my bestest friends. i am so thankful and blessed to have them by my side. it's not everyday a girl gets to have a childhood best friend and a college best friend! thank you again!!
