easter this year was spent in the mile high city! it was a great reunion with friends and family. i was able to see C&C's new humble abode, pay a visit to LoDo (lower downtown denver) on the rockies opening day and spent time with my g-ma and g-pa bernie.
on saturday, lil sis and i took gav to boulder and enjoyed pizza at the sink and a walk around pearl street.
for the easter holiday, the whole bernie bunch attended church, had brunch at aunt b's with a rainy easter egg hunt, where lil sis got the golden egg for the second year in a row. later on, we traveled to aunt k's for an easter ham dinner and paid a visit to my cousin nick's new house.
whenever i travel to denver, i fall back in love with the mountains and the sunny blue skies. i guess it is just that rocky mountain high..

- hey y'all! it's me, "the girl" from girl and the windy city. as y'all know, my partner-in-crime, my guy, and i were engaged last summer and now are gearing up for the big day. we want to reflect our windy city life through this sister blog! so as it goes, some might say, "southern meets the city." we would like to say, "bring it on!" this change did us good. not just changes in scenary, but changes in attitude and changes in latitude. we took the leap, moved to chicago and fell in love. that is what we have done. stuffed our cars, drove north and making chicago our own.
