i did not realize how fun it was to go out on a work night, until last night..
a bunch of us went downtown to celebrate bekah bee's birthday at luckystrike lanes. it is quite the classy lounge style bowling alley! the best part is everyone was able to mingle and still cut loose after a ling day of work. i also met two new friends!! they will be known as had-dawg and ua-j. (note: ua-j went to the university of arkansas..fyi)

- hey y'all! it's me, "the girl" from girl and the windy city. as y'all know, my partner-in-crime, my guy, and i were engaged last summer and now are gearing up for the big day. we want to reflect our windy city life through this sister blog! so as it goes, some might say, "southern meets the city." we would like to say, "bring it on!" this change did us good. not just changes in scenary, but changes in attitude and changes in latitude. we took the leap, moved to chicago and fell in love. that is what we have done. stuffed our cars, drove north and making chicago our own.
