Just a little FYI to ya'll..
I am taking a "me day monday" tomorrow. I have not had time for myself in three months. Note minnie will be put to sleep for the whole day. I will not be available until tuesday bright and early at 6:45 a.m.
I will be sleeping in and then at the spa and the peninsula all day. No ifs, ands or buts!
Look forward to some "oh my" posts in the next couple of days from my weekend working my first gala event, "the presidents' awards"..

- hey y'all! it's me, "the girl" from girl and the windy city. as y'all know, my partner-in-crime, my guy, and i were engaged last summer and now are gearing up for the big day. we want to reflect our windy city life through this sister blog! so as it goes, some might say, "southern meets the city." we would like to say, "bring it on!" this change did us good. not just changes in scenary, but changes in attitude and changes in latitude. we took the leap, moved to chicago and fell in love. that is what we have done. stuffed our cars, drove north and making chicago our own.
