best valentine's day ever

simply put and precisely true. not being a major supporter of this hallmark holiday, i could not have asked for a better weekend with my valentine, mr.right.

here is a little bulleted recap:

• friday night - tasty dinner at the grille room then saw one of my new favorite musicals "jersey boys," which i will be on itunes tonight purchasing the best of frankie valli.
• saturday - ran three miles in twenty-nine minutes (sooo close to my goal!) at crunch, cleaned my apartment, first time visit to trader joes (amazing..i urge anyone to shop at this one stop grocery shop) to pick up the wine and cheese for pre-dinner fun and met up with mrs. to get a mani/pedi in lincoln park.
• saturday night - enjoyed a delicious dinner of steak and lobster tail complimented with ceasar salad and baked potato prepared by mr.right and mr.
• saturday late night - played two-on-two scrabble and wii bowling.
• sunday - walked from LP to our favorite lunch spot lux bar cafe (through the ghetto might i add where the sarge in me definitely came out) to enjoy one of my best lunches in the windy city (fried egg sandwich, hasbrowns and mac-n-cheese). i also got in a little much needed retail therapy after mr.right and i went our separate ways.

to say the least not only was valentine's day better than ever, my whole weekend was fantabulous! (definitely got that word from the sherbear) i could not have asked for a better valentine in a better city on this day of devotion..
