i am giving up my one guilty pleasure for lent. chocolate. dark, milk, white, basically anything infused with chocolate. if you know me well enough, you should know i absolutely, positively, love chocolate to the maxx. i am 100 percent sure it is genetic. my grandma bernie and nina are total chocoholics.
at mcwork yesterday, i decided to stuff my face with chocolate..two bite brownies, reeces pieces, milk duds, hot chocolate...no i did not purposely buy any of these "poisons;" they were given to our department by vendors. i like to call them "bribes" to get our department to use their services.
yes, i did realize my birthday falls right before lent ends. i have decided i will request a white cake with white buttercream icing.
for the next six weeks, i will be cocoa-free.. sorry godiva, sweet mandy b.'s, more cupcakes and all of my other service providers, but i will not be contributing this season of lent..

Oh, there is a package in the mail. You will want to get one thing out and then keep the rest sealed. Maybe even put it in the refrigerator.....with love your little brownie.
