hoooray! that is my news that kept me up last night because i was too excited to go to sleep like a child on christmas eve.
i cannot wait for my college best friend to come and visit me in the chi. might i add, it is the weekend before st. patty's day, one of the most celebrated holidays in all of chicago. let the countdown begin!

- hey y'all! it's me, "the girl" from girl and the windy city. as y'all know, my partner-in-crime, my guy, and i were engaged last summer and now are gearing up for the big day. we want to reflect our windy city life through this sister blog! so as it goes, some might say, "southern meets the city." we would like to say, "bring it on!" this change did us good. not just changes in scenary, but changes in attitude and changes in latitude. we took the leap, moved to chicago and fell in love. that is what we have done. stuffed our cars, drove north and making chicago our own.
